Key West!

OK! Back to Key West! We wrapped up our vacation three months ago, but hey-who doesn’t like to reminisce about good times? Key West was great. I had never been there, so I had no idea what to expect. The co-captain had actually been there for the first time back in February for a conference, but he saved some of the “must do things” for us to enjoy together. We walked the length of Duval Street, looking at the people who had dressed their dogs up in matching hats. We took our picture at the Southern Most Point of the US, all the while making sure that the “nice stranger” who volunteered to take both of us in the picture, didn’t run away with our camera. Of course we ate lunch at Margaritaville! The original location! Too bad Jimmy wasn’t there. It just so happened, he was back home playing a concert in our hometown harbor. What’s the chance, right? We toured Ernest Hemingway’s house with all the six toed cats, and stopped at the Blonde Giraffe for the absolute best Key Lime Pie ever! We had a great time on vacation, and now can’t help but look forward to the next.

I’m doing a little self reflection, so that’s where the blog is heading in the future posts for awhile.
