GET OUT THERE

Get Out There, is the Royal Caribbean slogan. We tried this vacation to do things we normally would not do. Before, I go into what excursions we tried, I wanted to post about our overall experience with Royal Caribbean. We have been on several cruises before, all with Carnival. Although we always have a good time on vacation, I mean its a vacation, we were continuously impressed with Royal Caribbean. It started when we got to the Miami airport. We walked up to the RC desk and asked about transfer tickets to the port. First they said how much and it was cheaper than Carnival, and close to a taxi fare. Plus we did not have to worry about a 2 hour trip around Miami. Next, as they said they would bill our room on board, another representative said a bus was waiting for us to board. Less than 5 minutes later we were on our way. One other stop at another terminal for about 5-10 minutes and again on our way. We have waited HOURS before waiting for a bus to the port in Miami.
Next, we walked right up to the counter to check in at the port. NO LINES! Then as we were being handed our room keys, they said your room should be ready in 10 minutes. Well just to get your picture taken for the id would be that long. We got on board, put our bags down and headed for lunch. The food was excellent and a higher quality than we had seen before. Everywhere we looked while on board, the staff was working so efficiently. The last night, people were in line at the purser’s desk to close out accounts, I needed to ask a question, but did not want to wait. There was an extra staff member outside the line to take other questions not regarding check out. YEAH!! There also did not seem to be the long line of people on check in or check out complaining about something. All said, we would recommend Royal Caribbean! Anyways, tomorrow will start our day by day account.
